inspiration
I spied this gentleman on a train on the coast of Portugal and couldn’t help but snap his picture from afar. Faces have always fascinated me with the stories they tell. I imagined him having a life on the sea.
technique
I covered a plastic mask with foil and wire mesh, then built his features and hat with Das Italian Modeling Clay.
