“Petroglyphs”
inspiration
What a thrill to witness the art made by people whose canvas was the desert varnish of canyon walls thousands of years ago. We can only imagine the stories they tell.
technique
Using wire I “drew” the petroglyphs, copying petroglyphs and pictographs I’d seen in the Utah desert, then coated them with Apoxy sculpting clay, painted them with acrylic paint and sprayed with UV protectant for outdoor display.
