inspiration

As we raft and camp on the wild rivers of the Southwest, I often imagine seeing a mountain lion resting in a cliff cave. In the book “Eating Stone”, Ellen Meloy follows big horn sheep to the deepest recesses of the desert, where lions hunt them.

This bas relief is made with Apoxy sculpting clay on canvas, painted with acrylic.
